If you haven’t read my first blog post, I guess you’ll need a little introduction to who I am and what I’m doing!
I grew up as a “third culture kid” in Hong Kong, until at 13 I was sent to boarding school back in the motherland, England.
I waded through these years of madness and popped out the other end to find myself at university, studying Biosciences. A lot of hangovers, and a few essays later, I walked proudly under Old Joe, with a 2:1 in my hands, a smile on my face, and two very proud (*perplexed) parents at my side.
After graduating I ventured over to France, where I taught English in primary schools for 6 months in a city called Clermont-Ferrand.
Upon returning to the UK, I made the move up north and came to live in Edinburgh, Scotland’s capital, with my boyfriend. I got myself a job in sales at a small tech company, and started to settle down. Scotland’s an incredible country, and I’m in love with the lifestyle I’m afforded here (not to mention the haggis!).
I’ve experienced a lot of change over my 22 years on this planet, but one of the things that has remained constant in my life is my interest in health and fitness.
Over the past few years I’ve begun researching, and putting into practice, all of the information that I can get my hands on when it comes to nutrition, and optimum health.
And that’s where this blog comes in.
There are two main concepts I like to focus on in my everyday life:
– Moderation, moderation, moderation
– Healthiness breeds happiness
Linked into these two points is everything you need to know about eating healthier, getting fit, and ultimately becoming a happier version of yourself!
I’m always looking for feedback, and always open to answering any questions, so if you have the time, drop me a quick email at firstname.lastname@example.org – even if it’s just a message to say hi!
Have fun exploring, and good luck on your adventure to optimum health!
